Car conversion with 11 new branches in southern Norway
In early 2021, the strategy was set for Rico Bilombygging, where the goal was to become one of the few leading companies that provide car rebuilding with equipment adapted for people with disabilities. "For over 20 years, we have provided this service here locally on Haugalandet. The time had come to invest.
With the deadline for public tenders approaching, it was a hectic race to get everything in place, and not least to find the business model that would work for us. The solution was a close, long-term partnership with 11 different workshops, with locations in Bergen, Haugesund, Stavanger, Lyngdal, Mandal, Kristiansand, Porsgrunn, Notodden, Drammen and Oslo. With this, we cover large parts of the market and are ready to do our utmost for our customers.
The initiative will also contribute and provide synergy effects for our sister companies, and not least for our customers, where we can now more efficiently deliver all additional services to our customers and their car fleet.
Ole Mikal Aase
Joining the team is Ole Mikal Aase, who is also co-owner of Rico Bilombygging AS, and department manager for the company. Ole is the one who holds the strings in the various departments, and takes care of the administrative tasks.
