We have a high environmental focus at every stage, from raw material to finished product, throughout the food chain
We make a difference - with the UN Sustainable Development Goals

At the core of our business
Our core products are made of birch and consist of 95% wood. This makes for a very positive calculation of the CO2 footprint of our van racking. A recent report shows that van racking made from plywood has between 10 and 40 times less CO2 footprint compared to aluminum van racking. The report has taken into account kg of plywood produced versus kg of (recycled) aluminum produced.
Our raw material comes from Latvijas Fineries (Riga Wood) in Latvia. The company has a high focus on sustainability and is one of Europe's leading manufacturers and suppliers of wood products. Together with our subcontractor and partner Tekteam AS in Drammen, we are Scandinavia's largest consumer of plywood, something we are very proud of! Get a little insight in the video above from the manufacturer, and more documentation can be found on their website here.
Through Trefadder, we are helping to ensure that our production can also contribute to a better environment. Trefadder AS' s commercial climate forests originate from a comprehensive government climate forest project under the auspices of the Ministry of Climate and Environment (2013-2019)
The Norwegian Environment Agency and Norway's foremost forest science environments have spent more than NOK 50 million on Norwegian Climate Forest Research in the period 2015-2021.
The climate impact of Norwegian climate forests is well documented and Trefadder, together with international partners, has further developed climate forest methodology, practices and documentation even more.
